Pricing

Every price we charge, on one page

Rate cards, retainers, project starting points, and fixed price small jobs. Published because working out what something costs should not require a sales call.

01

Fixed price

A number against a written scope. The price does not move unless the scope does. This is how most work is bought, and it is what we recommend.

40 percent deposit, balance on delivery

02

Time and materials

Billed in fifteen minute increments against a written weekly cap you set. Right when the work genuinely cannot be scoped up front, such as discovery or an incident.

Weekly cap, billed in arrears

03

Monthly retainer

A block of hours plus monitoring and priority. Right once you have systems running that the business depends on.

Monthly in advance, 30 days notice

Rate card

Day and hourly rates

Remote delivery. These hold for the duration of a signed statement of work, including multi month engagements.

  • Rates are for remote delivery. Onsite is quoted separately with travel at cost.
  • Weekly rate assumes a full five day block and is roughly eight percent below the daily rate.
  • Fixed price is available on any scope we can write down. Most clients prefer it, and so do we.
  • Time and materials work is billed in fifteen minute increments against a written weekly cap.
  • Rates hold for the duration of a signed statement of work, including multi month engagements.

Retainers

Keeping it running once it is built

Building an automation is the cheap part. Keeping it working through API changes, credential expiry, and your own process changes is the part that decides whether it is still saving you hours in a year.

Watch

$450a month

4 hours included, next business day response

One or two live automations you depend on but do not change often.

  • Uptime and failure monitoring on every workflow we built
  • Failure alerts to your channel of choice within minutes
  • Break fix on anything that stops working, up to the included hours
  • Monthly one page health report
  • Credential and API deprecation warnings before they bite

Not included: New builds, scope changes, and anything past the included hours, quoted at the standard rate.

Embedded

$3,800a month

40 hours included, one business hour response

You want an automation function without hiring one.

  • Everything in Operate
  • Forty hours a month, effectively a dedicated engineer at quarter time
  • Named engineer with continuity, not a rotating pool
  • Attendance at your planning ceremonies
  • Roadmap owned jointly, reviewed monthly against realized savings
  • Documentation and handover maintained continuously, so you are never locked in

Not included: Nothing within the automation remit. Anything outside it we say so and refer on.

Start on Embedded
  • Unused hours roll over one month, then expire. We would rather you used them.
  • Thirty days notice to cancel, no exit fee, no minimum term past the first month.
  • Retainers are billed monthly in advance. Overage is billed in arrears at the standard rate.

Project engagements

Starting prices by service

The starting price is a real floor, not a teaser. Where a project lands above it, the quote says exactly which parts of the scope moved it.

FAQ

Pricing questions

Why publish prices at all?

Because the alternative wastes both our time. If the number is wrong for you, finding that out on a web page is faster than finding it out on a third call.

Is the starting price realistic or a teaser?

It is a real floor. Roughly a third of projects land at or near it. When a quote comes back higher, it names the specific scope items that moved it.

Do you take a deposit?

On fixed price work over a thousand dollars, 40 percent up front and the balance on delivery. Under a thousand, nothing up front.

What happens if the work turns out bigger than quoted?

We tell you before starting, not after. If we got the estimate wrong on a fixed price scope, that is our problem, not a change order.

Can we pay monthly instead?

Yes. Projects over about eight thousand dollars can be split across the delivery months, invoiced against milestones.

Who owns the code?

You do. Full source, infrastructure definitions, and documentation transfer on final invoice, on every engagement without exception.

Are these prices in US dollars?

Yes, and they are exclusive of any local sales tax or VAT, which is added where it applies.
